These substrates are more sensitive due to the effect of -electrons on the decomposition of 1,2-dioxetanes intermediate in the form of phenoxide ion formed after the interaction of phosphate group on 1,2-dioxetane and alkaline phosphatase enzyme. They offer a number of kits and substrates that are designed specifically to alkaline phosphatase enzyme. Their line of chemiluminescent alkaline phosphatase enzyme substrates includes phosphate derivatives of several different 1, 2-dioxetanes.
